Filippo Mambretti was born in Como, Italy. He grew up in close contact with his grandparents, who were artisans in furniture and statuary, and they instilled in him a love for culture and the history of design.
While studying art in high school, he met Bruno Munari, and this experience led him to enroll at the Polytechnic University of Milan, where he earned a degree in interior design and furniture design.
As a teacher, designer, and winner of numerous awards, he collaborates with various design schools, including SSS_AA, CSIA, IED, and the Polytechnic University of Milan.
He also manages his own design studio based in Switzerland, engaging in activities throughout Europe through vibrant collaborations with various product design and architecture companies.
